CLARET STRAGGLE-HOG

I have been using a version similar to this using standard straggle fritz all season with superb results. This is one for the brownies and the rainbows, one for the top dropper on a floater or slime line or even deeper. I have shown the version above instead of the pattern with standard straggle fritz as the new version makes it even easier to tie with and the added UV seems to improve the fly. Only yesterday (26th August) this pattern accounted for no less than 9 good brownies in a 3 hour visit to Loch Ruthven.
